Series EF - High voltage / current electrode

Series EF glands allow the user to provide high-voltage, high-current supplies in autoclaves, vacuum furnaces, reactor vessels and process enclosures to electric motors, power heaters and other devices needing high power supply.

Copper and stainless steel conductors can be selected, although the latter has a lower current rating than the former. There are three sizes or copper elctrode available, which are rated 40A, 100A and 200A at 2kV maximum.

Feedthroughs with copper electrodes have brass nuts and washers. Stainless steel nuts and washers are fitted to stainless steel electrodes.

Stainless steel nuts and washers are fitted to stainless steel electrodes, whereas brass nuts and washers are fitted to copper electrodes.

To allow for immediate installation, Series EF assemblies are supplied pre-torqued. Insulators are Alumina.

  • IECEx Approved to Ex II 2 GD, Ex d IIC Gb / Ex e IIC Gb, Ex ta IIIC Da
  • Three feedthrough assembly sizes are available
  • Can be used at 2KV up to 200A
  • Pressure range is from Vacuum to 550 bar*
  • Temperature ranged from -60°C to +200°C*
  • Stainless steel body (316L), internal follower and cap; Alumina insulators
  • Alumina insulators, all metal parts are made from 316L Stainless Steel
  • 2 sealant materials are available
  • Sealants are replaceable
  • Electrodes pre-installed in feedthrough and torqued ready for installation
  • Supplied pre-torqued with electrodes installed in feedthrough, ready for immediate installation
