IECEx Approved Pressure and Vacuum Feedthroughs
Series WF - Feedthroughs for multiple wires and probes
Series WF feedthroughs can provide an efficient seal without recourse to epoxies or other non-adjustable fixture methods when multiple wires must pass through a pressure boundary.
These assemblies cater for up to 12 bare or insulated wires - sizes from 0.2mm2 (24AWG) to approx. 8.8mm2 (8AWG). Depending on which type of element is required to pass through, a different type of assembly can be specified.
Feedthroughs with power wires can be supplied ready for installation as a complete assembly (wires would be cut to lengths specified by the user). Additionally, protection is provided for these wires through the use of insulators, which are rated 55A @ 600Vdc/850Vac max.
Up to 12 small diameter sensor elements can be passed through a WF feedthrough, which must be electrically isolated from one another.

- Type WFS - seal on thermocouple or Kapton® insulated copper wires
- Type WFR - seal on bare wires carrying instrumentation voltages
- Type WFP - Seal on small diameter sheathed sensors, max. 3.2mm dia.
- IECEx Approved to Ex II 2 GD, Ex d IIC Gb / Ex e IIC Gb, Ex ta IIIC Da
- Temperature rated from -60°C to +200°C*
- Pressure range is from Vacuum to 700 bar*
- 316L Body (and seat where applicable). Follower and cap in 303 or 304
- Body, cap, internal follower and seat all made from 316L Stainless Steel
- 3 sealant materials are available
- Elements and media can be replaced without taking the gland apart
