Temperature Controllers
Communications
Communication with the modules is RS485. A choice of Modbus and ASCII ANSI X 3.28 protocols is available which allows these instruments to be simply connected to a PC or PLC.
Space Saving
The system comprises 4 or 2 channel control modules which can be use as a stand-alone PID control or alarm module for distributed installation or connected to 30 additional extension modules to make a multi-loop control system with alarms (up to 64 PID control loops + 128 alarms outputs).
Multi-Channel
This is a 4 or 2 channels module in a compact shell. If however the unit is used as a heat and cool module or position proportional controller, then it is only 2 or 1 channel.
Control
The SRZ control system features Brilliant II PID with autotuning. Brilliant II PID allows an optimum response to both setpoint and process changes.

In the event of heater failure this option provides an alarm output. A matching current transducer, available from TC Ltd., is required for this option.

A wide range of thermocouple, resistance thermometer, voltage and current inputs are available.

The SRZ features various output options, including relay, voltage pulse, voltage and milliamp.

The modules are powered by a 24V DC supply and a version with removable connectors is available upon request. The interleaved terminal arrangement provides easy access for wiring.
